The Story:

The game is all about a man named John Synclair. He is plagued 
by nightmares ever since his daughter (Nadine) was found hacked 
to pieces in his garden.

He is being held in the "Greenhouse" Mental Institution to try 
to cure him. The Police arrested him because his wife also died 
the same way two years ago, and all the evidence points to him. 

He wakes up one day after a horrible nightmare, alone in his cell.
The cell door stands wide open and the whole house is filled with
thick Fog.

Now he fights alone through this world of darkness, surrounded by
fear and attacked by ghoulish monsters who try to pull him into their 
dark world.

The Question is: Why?
